Dr. Walden can often be seen on media outlets such as ABC and Fox News. When invited to speak on such stations, she often discusses issues relating to her work like technological advances. She has her own recurring segment on Austin’s local ABC station called “Looking Good and Living Well With Dr. Jennifer Walden.” She has also been featured on The Today Show, Plastic Surgery Obsession and 20/20, among others.
As well as video media, her ideas and thoughts have leaked onto the magazine and journal page. She has been featured in and written for magazines such as Texas MD, MD Monthly, Vive, and Harper’s Bazaar. Her work in media, both print and television, goes to show that the skill set of Dr. Walden extends far beyond just plastic surgery. Print and television is not the only way she likes to connect with her peers, she has also lectured in front of other plastic surgeons about her techniques and methods.
Dr. Walden is the co-author of a textbook called Aesthetic Plastic Surgery that was released in 2010. The textbook was not only intended to be viewed by working and soon-to-be plastic surgeons. The content of the book is a great reference for people who are thinking about undergoing a plastic surgery operation. The books lists in great detail many of the cosmetic procedures available to patients. Aside from her actual skills in plastic surgery, this may be her greatest contribution to the plastic surgery industry.
