Yes, I finally upgraded my Friday Favorites logo!
This week’s list of faves is kinda short, but there hasn’t been a whole lot of fitness info. on my radar lately since I’m not really working out anymore. BUT there’s always time for food, right? Let’s get started:
This actually isn’t a new recipe (so it’s quite possible I’ve featured it in Friday Favorites before) but this Poached Egg on Toast with Chipotle Mayo, Bacon and Avocado is calling to me…a perfect Father’s Day breakfast, no?
Speaking of Father’s Day, my husband pretty much hates all sweets (weirdo)…except for warm, fresh-out-of-the-oven chocolate chip cookies. That’s why this One-Pan Dark Chocolate Chunk Skillet Cookie is on the menu for Father’s Day dessert.
The “green smoothie” trend has both intrigued and disgusted me ever since it first started appearing on healthy living blogs. But as someone who definitely doesn’t get enough veggies (especially leafy greens), I’ve had it in the back of mind that I will give green smoothies a try at some point. After reading the ideas in Brittany’s post, Hooked On Green Smoothies, I think the time has finally come (gulp). I’ll report back if I actually manage to drink one of these babies!
