Since 1965, the Kabbalah Centre International (then known as The National Research Institute of Kabbalah) has been doing what it can to help teach Jewish youth and worked hard to bring the teachings of the Kabbalah to many parts of the world. Currently, Kabbalah Centre International has more than fifty offices branches all over the globe, with major branches located in Los Angeles, London, and Toronto.
The Kabbalah Centre International was created to teach courses on the Zohar and Kabbalistic teachings to those seeking them. Kabbalah Centre International has held the belief that the lessons to be learned through the Kabbalah should be available to any and all who seek to learn and grow. They have managed to build their foundation over the years and have reached millions of students through online courses, as well as classes held at local branches throughout the world.
Part of the Kabbalah Centre International’s approach to teaching has been to begin at the beginning. The first lessons generally given to students are ones that require little to no previous knowledge of Jewish and Hebrew texts or tomes. This also helps demonstrates the Centre’s dedication to being an addition to any religion or spiritual path and not attempting to replace them. A person’s spiritual path is personal and meaningful to them and should not be forced upon them.
Over the years, many well-known people have begun to study with Kabbalah Centre International rabbis and centers. Among these big name students are pop superstars like Madonna, Britney Spears, and Lindsay Lohan. Talented actors such as James van Der Beek and Ashton Kutcher are also known students of the Kabbalah Centre.
In times when things seem dark, it can be nice to know that there are good people still attempting to bring a little light into the world through spiritual teachings.
