IAP Worldwide Services is more than disaster management but they are also involved in air traffic control. When disaster strikes, air traffic control is important, but it’s much needed on a daily basis for all flights within the United States as well as abroad. Oftentimes, IAP Worldwide Services will utilize offices throughout the U.S. and other countries to get the work done that is needed but it’s also important that when outside the country the U.S. military can get the help they need when they need it most.

The Middle East was lacking in proper airways as well as proper radio coverage, which meant that any flights going through would have a difficult time understanding the language as well as how to use their protocol.
Readiness Management Support or RMS provides subcontractors to work in these areas and assist IAP when services are needed. Remote communications were need throughout Afghanistan, and with much work to be done in an underdeveloped country, Midwest ATC Services was chosen to provide the company with air traffic controllers.
